Statement
I use paint and mixed media to convey private states of mind and emotion. Within this medium I also discuss patterns and concepts found within numbers and mathematical equations that repeat throughout the natural world. My work connects the personal and the universal through symbols, patterns, color, and dreamlike imagery and spaces. My work also includes small sculpture, including a continually growing installation of shoes hand made with paper and fabric, entitled “Secret Outing.”
